My bag for Singapore (advice welcome!)
travel advice

I am leaving for Singapore on Weds night from Perth (the actual flight is 2am Thurs morning) and need to check that what’s in my carry-on bag is okay.

My friend passed on her mum’s travel advice that I don’t take a handbag with me (noo!! handbag withdrawal symptoms), because I can just buy a new one over there (oooh yes!! any excuse will do), so I am transfering my junk over to a backpack. I will use this backpack over in Singapore until I get a handbag. It’s probably better for my back to keep using this as I tend to carry a lot of junk around, but…handbags do look nicer haha.

This photo is what I will be carrying on the plane. Is there anything here that you think the airlines won’t like? My liquids are small and in the right pouch, and nothing seems like it could be a weapon :P

On my everyday walking around in Singapore I won’t be carrying spare clothes, toothpaste, ds, and travel documents. But I will have maps, food, other bits, and purchases.

Gondola Ride

For once in life, if you make it a point to reach Italy and be in Venice – make sure you make one more point very clear that – you have the Gondola experience up in your travel kitty.

The experience is like being in a helicopter enjoying the himalayas from the view that very few will get but again, never forget that the price will be high. For once you can do it but never think again about what you paid.

Its a travel advice as well as personal experience too, I was asked for €80 for 40 minutes but that again depends lot on you and the Gondolier. Its one experience you will like but make it a point to do it or not do it. Make sure if you plan to do it – do it. If you dont, make sure you dont think about it again.
